Universal Fit for 8 Quart Pots

This silicone lid is designed to fit common 8 quart pressure cooker inner pots. It stays securely in place without slipping during handling. One lid handles multiple kitchen tasks, reducing the need to switch between different covers. It is intended for buyers who want a single airtight solution for food storage.

Sustained Temperature Performance

The lid withstands temperatures from -40°F to 210°F for microwave reheating, refrigerator storage and dishwasher cleaning. Premium food-grade silicone resists whitening when stretched and resists cracking or warping over time. The thick yet flexible material maintains a reliable seal through repeated thermal cycles. It is not suited for buyers who need a lid rated for oven use above 210°F.

Simple Installation and Common Issues

The flexible silicone stretches over the inner pot rim to create an airtight seal without tools. Users must measure their inner pot before purchasing to ensure compatibility. Rigid plastic lids cannot match this flexibility for folding and storage. Buyers with non-standard or oversized pots may find the universal fit insufficient.

Questions about this item

Does the silicone lid get too hot to handle after a full microwave cycle up to 210 °F?

The lid is rated from -40 °F to 210 °F, so it tolerates microwave reheating without degrading, though the silicone itself will become warm and should be handled with care.

What size inner pot do I already need for this lid to seal properly?

It is designed for common 8-quart pressure-cooker inner pots; the supplier recommends measuring your pot rim before buying to confirm fit.

Will the flexible silicone lid sit flat on the rim of an older 8-quart Instant Pot inner pot?

The universal-fit design grips standard 8-quart rims securely without slipping, creating an airtight seal on both current and earlier models of that capacity.
