Protection coverage

The clear case provides maximum coverage with 0.2 mm thick strips that protect the antennas and stainless steel frame of the Apple iPhone 5. Military grade patented material forms the primary defence for the device. Unique self-healing properties allow the surface to recover from minor scratches over time. It is intended for owners who want transparent protection with a lifetime replacement guarantee.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive accessory the case draws no power and produces no audible noise during normal use. The thin profile adds negligible thermal insulation so the phone dissipates heat as designed. No active cooling or electrical components are present. The product therefore has no impact on battery life or operating temperature.

Build and daily use

The self-healing layer maintains clarity by repairing light abrasions from pocket carry or tabletop placement. Precise cut-outs keep ports, buttons and cameras accessible without removing the cover. A free lifetime replacement warranty covers the case for as long as the original device is owned. Buyers who want a ruggedised shell with integrated screen protection or a folio wallet design will need a different product type.

Questions about this item

How do I align the 0.2 mm antenna strips during installation?

Peel each strip, line it up with the stainless-steel frame cut-outs, then press firmly from the centre outward to avoid trapped air bubbles.

Will the self-healing layer eventually wear out and need replacing?

The self-healing material is designed to last the life of the iPhone 5, and the included lifetime replacement covers any wear that does appear.

At what point does the thin frame coverage stop protecting against drops?

The 0.2 mm strips shield the antenna bands and frame edges, but a direct corner impact on concrete can still transfer enough force to crack the screen.
