395 nm UV Bar for Glow Effects

This 395 nm UV black-light bar makes fluorescent paints, posters and body art glow vividly. Two 9.45 inch aluminium-and-plastic strips are included, each drawing 5 V DC power from any USB port or power bank. The g5 base type matches the supplied fittings.

Upgrade from Single Fixed-Output Strips

Earlier single bars often offered only one brightness level and no controller. This kit adds a five-level dimmer so you can tune the glow for subtle poster accents or full-room Halloween scenes. The jump is worth it when you need adjustable intensity without rewiring.

Peel-and-Stick Mount with USB Power

Double-sided adhesive pads let you press each 8.78 × 0.91 × 0.39 inch bar onto clean, dry surfaces in seconds. The only common issue is dust or oil preventing the tape from bonding; wipe the mounting area first and the strips hold firmly.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of each 395 nm UV bar so I can check it fits my display area?

Each bar measures 8.78 in long, 0.91 in wide and 0.39 in high.

How do I mount the bars and what is the step most people miss?

Peel the backing off the supplied double-sided adhesive strips, press each aluminium-plastic bar firmly onto a clean, dry surface, and hold for several seconds — skipping the surface-clean step causes the bars to fall off later.

What part will need replacing first if I run the bars at full brightness every night?

The 395 nm UV LEDs will gradually lose output over time; when the glow effect fades noticeably, replace the entire bar as the LEDs are not user-serviceable.
