Compact USB Soundbar

The ZETIY EL001 is a 2.0 channel speaker that draws power and audio over a single USB connection. It suits desktop or laptop users who want immediate sound without installing drivers or hunting for a 3.5 mm jack. A USB-C to USB adapter is included for modern ports. The slim 1.38 in x 7.08 in x 1.96 in form factor fits tight workspaces.

Thermals Noise Power

Passive USB power at 5 volts means no external brick and negligible heat during normal listening. Dual 3 W drivers reach surprisingly loud volume while keeping treble clean and bass mellow at maximum level. A push-button mute lets you cut sound instantly without an on/off switch. The 130 cm cable provides flexible placement on any desk.

Upgrade Path

This soundbar replaces built-in monitor or laptop speakers that lack clarity and volume. It upgrades any system with a spare USB-A or USB-C port — Windows, Mac, Linux or Unix — with zero configuration. Buyers who need room-filling bass, surround decoding or battery-powered portability should look elsewhere. The 0.34 kg weight makes it easy to move between desks.

Questions about this item

How do I install the EL001 soundbar and what step do people miss?

Plug the USB connector into your computer; if the port is USB-C only, use the included USB-C to USB adapter first. The speaker draws power and audio over the same cable, so no separate 3.5 mm jack or driver install is needed.

What maintenance or replacement will the EL001 need later?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts and no replaceable batteries. Keep the non-slip mat clean so the speaker stays stable, and store the 130 cm cable without sharp bends to avoid internal wire fatigue.

What limit appears first during long listening sessions on the EL001?

The 3 W total output caps maximum loudness; at sustained high volume the amplifier can reach its headroom limit, so very large rooms or bass-heavy material may sound compressed before thermal protection activates.
