Magnetic 140mm fan filters for PC builds

This five-pack of magnetic dust filters fits standard 140mm case fans. Each filter measures 140mm by 140mm by 0.45mm and uses a PVC mesh with 0.8mm holes. The magnetic frame allows tool-free attachment and removal for cleaning. The set is intended for desktop computer cooling systems.

Suited for builders adding dust protection

The magnetic design makes installation simple on any ferrous fan frame or case panel. Users who prefer screw-on filters or need filters for non-magnetic surfaces will not be able to use these as supplied. The pack contains five identical filters, so systems with fewer or more than five 140mm intake points require additional packs.

0.8mm mesh hole size determines dust capture

The PVC mesh openings measure approximately 0.8mm, which blocks larger dust and hair while letting air pass. Finer particles smaller than this opening will still enter the case. Buyers needing HEPA-level filtration or a different mesh density should consider other filter types.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 140mm magnetic frame is seated correctly on my case fan?

The filter should sit flush against the fan housing with the magnetic edges fully engaged; a gentle tug will show it holds without gaps.

What comes in the five-pack and is any mounting hardware needed?

Five black 140mm PVC mesh filters with integrated magnetic frames are included; no screws or extra hardware are required.

Which mesh density should I choose for a standard 140mm case fan?

The single specification uses a 0.8mm hole diameter, which balances dust blocking with airflow for typical 140mm fans.
