Three Boxes for Bulk Storage

This pack contains three 12-count boxes of Ziploc 2 Gallon food storage bags, giving a total of 36 blue bags for refrigerating or freezing larger portions of food and snacks. They suit households that buy in bulk or prepare meals ahead and need a single purchase to cover multiple storage sessions.

Triple Seal Opens and Closes Easily

Each bag uses a triple seal system with an extended tab, easy-grip texture and double zipper so the closure engages smoothly without forcing the tracks. The most common issue is overfilling past the recommended vent line, which can prevent the zipper from locking fully and allow air to enter.

Check Your Freezer Shelf Height

Verify that your freezer or fridge shelves can accommodate bags measuring 12 inches wide when laid flat, because the 2 gallon volume requires more horizontal space than quart or gallon sizes. Also confirm you are comfortable hand-washing and air-drying for reuse, as the manufacturer advises against reusing bags that held raw meat, fish, eggs or allergy-triggering foods.

Questions about this item

How can I tell the triple seal system on these Ziploc 2 Gallon bags is working after I close them?

Press the double zipper along the full 12 inch width; the extended tab and easy-grip texture should click shut with no gaps, confirming the seal locks in freshness.

What comes in the package for part 686680 and what must I buy separately?

The box contains three 12-count packs of blue 2 Gallon food storage bags totalling 36 bags; no extra accessories are included so nothing else is required to start using them.

Which capacity should I choose between the listed 2 Gallon size and other Ziploc options?

Choose the 2 Gallon size when you need to store larger volumes such as bulk leftovers or big produce; smaller Quart, Snack or Sandwich bags suit smaller portions.
