Product Identity

The ZITIANYOUBUILD 1659 MOC-36720 is a custom building set modeled after the Sukhoi SU-35 Flanker aircraft. It contains 36720 interlocking plastic bricks made from ABS material and includes PDF instructions for assembly. The set is designed for adult builders and advanced hobbyists who enjoy detailed military aircraft replicas. It arrives new and ready to build.

Upgrade Context

This set replaces smaller, less detailed aircraft models that use fewer bricks and simpler construction techniques. The jump is worth it when a builder wants a highly complex display piece with a high part count and intricate shaping. It is not for casual builders who prefer quick builds, those seeking motorised functions, or anyone wanting a model with official licensing or pre-printed decorations.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your building surface can accommodate a large footprint during the extended assembly process. Confirm you have adequate storage for sorting 36720 pieces by colour and shape before starting. Ensure you are comfortable following digital PDF instructions rather than a printed manual. The bricks are compatible with major brand studs, so existing collections can supplement the build if needed.

Questions about this item

Does the 1659 set use standard stud dimensions so it locks with LEGO bricks?

Yes, the bricks are 100 % compatible with LEGO and other major brands, using the same stud spacing and clutch power.

The PDF instructions are digital only — what is the most common mistake builders make when starting?

Builders often begin without opening the PDF first; the model uses 36720 unique steps that must be followed in sequence to align the fighter-jet geometry.

If a brick cracks or goes missing years later, can I replace just that piece?

Individual bricks are standard ABS parts; you can source exact replacements from any LEGO-compatible parts supplier using the element designations in the PDF.
