Axolotl Building Set 117 Parts

This ZITIANYOUBUILD set contains 117 interlocking bricks designed around an axolotl theme. The multi-coloured ABS plastic pieces are BPA-free with smooth edges for safe handling. It is compatible with major building-block brands so it can expand existing collections. The kit includes wheels and axles alongside standard shapes for moving models.

MOC-198581 Upgrade Path

The set replaces smaller starter kits by adding specialised elements such as wheels and a broader colour palette. Builders who already own basic bricks gain new mechanical options without buying a large mixed box. The jump is worth it when a themed model and motion parts are wanted in a single, compact package.

Adult Collectors and Gift Buyers

The 117-piece count suits hobbyists who enjoy a short, satisfying build or parents seeking a compact gift for children aged six and over. It is not for buyers who want a large-scale display model or a parts pack with hundreds of generic bricks for open-ended construction.

Questions about this item

Does the 117-piece Axolotl set need a baseplate or special surface to build on?

No separate baseplate is required; the ABS bricks interlock tightly on any flat surface and are compatible with major-brand plates if you prefer one.

What is the step builders most often miss when assembling the MOC-198581 model?

Sort the wheels, axles and speciality shapes before starting — the instructions assume they are pre-separated, so skipping that sort causes back-tracking later.

If a brick cracks or goes missing from the 117-piece set, how do I replace it?

Individual bricks are not sold separately by the maker, but the pieces use standard dimensions so any major-brand 1×1, 2×4 or wheel/axle element will fit as a direct substitute.
