Five-axle Crane Building Set

The ZITIANYOUBUILD C696 is a 2061-piece interlocking brick set that builds a detailed five-axle crane with a separate jib and counterweight. It is designed for builders aged 14 and up who enjoy complex construction challenges and mechanical models. The set arrives new with PDF instructions for assembly.

LEGO-Compatible Upgrade for Advanced Builders

This kit replaces smaller or simpler vehicle sets by offering a higher part count and articulated mechanical functions such as a movable jib. The jump is worth it when the builder wants a display-worthy model that integrates tightly with existing LEGO collections and supports custom modifications.

Compatibility and Age Check Before Ordering

Verify that the intended builder meets the 14+ age recommendation for complexity and small parts. Confirm that your existing brick collection uses standard stud spacing so the ABS pieces connect securely. No additional tools or power sources are required for assembly.

Questions about this item

Does the 2061-piece crane set need a baseplate to stand upright?

The model builds on its own bricks; no separate baseplate is included or required for display.

Which step in the PDF instructions is most often missed when assembling the separate jib and counterweight?

Builders frequently attach the jib before locking the counterweight pins, causing the boom to sag until the pins are seated.

If a clutch hinge or technic axle cracks after heavy play, can I replace it with standard LEGO elements?

Yes, the set uses common LEGO-compatible technic axles and hinges that are widely available separately.
