MOC-101504 Class 4000 Big Boy

The ZITIANYOUBUILD Custom MOC-101504 Class 4000 Big Boy set contains 2260 pieces designed for adult builders and advanced hobbyists. It replicates a historic steam locomotive using interlocking plastic bricks. The finished model serves as a detailed display piece for enthusiasts of railway history and complex construction toys.

LEGO-Compatible Interlocking System

Bricks follow the standard stud-and-tube geometry used by major brands, ensuring a tight fit with existing collections. The ABS plastic moulding tolerances determine how firmly elements clutch together and how easily they separate during modifications. Very large or heavily stressed sections may loosen over repeated handling, requiring occasional reinforcement.

2260-Piece Capacity and Build Scope

The piece count supports a multi-section locomotive with driving wheels, boiler detailing and cab interior. Builders can complete the designed model comfortably within the supplied inventory. Adding extended rolling stock, track layouts or custom detailing will exceed the included parts and require supplementary bricks.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2260-piece set or the 101504 model for a Big Boy locomotive build?

The 101504 is the model number for this specific 2260-piece Class 4000 Big Boy set; they refer to the same product, so you do not choose between them.

What does the Class 4000 designation mean once the model is assembled?

Class 4000 identifies the Union Pacific Big Boy prototype this MOC replicates, so the finished build represents that specific 4-8-8-4 steam locomotive type.

How does the LEGO-compatible interlocking system cap the building experience?

The bricks are made from ABS plastic and designed to hold tightly with all major brands, letting you mix parts without fit issues while keeping the structure stable.
