MOC-82000 Illinois GP9 Train Set

This 1264-piece building set reproduces an Illinois GP9 locomotive under the MOC-82000 designation. It is aimed at adult hobbyists and collectors who enjoy detailed railway modelling with interlocking bricks. The kit arrives new with PDF instructions for a guided build experience. The multi-colour bricks are moulded in ABS plastic for durability and tight clutch power.

100% LEGO Compatible Brick System

The pieces follow the standard stud-and-tube geometry used by major brick brands, so they integrate directly with existing collections. Builders can mix these elements with other compatible sets without fitment issues. The system relies on friction fit alone; no adhesives or special tools are required for assembly or modification. This compatibility keeps future expansion open-ended.

1264 Parts for a Complete Locomotive

The part count supplies the full exterior shell, chassis details and cab interior for a single GP9 model. It provides enough specialised elements for the distinctive nose profile and mechanical details typical of this diesel-electric class. Builders seeking longer consists or additional rolling stock will need extra parts beyond this box. The set is focused on one complete display model rather than a modular train system.
