Custom MOC-125310 EMD-SD90/43MAC Union Pacific Train

This custom building set contains 2241 parts and recreates an EMD-SD90/43MAC locomotive in Union Pacific livery. It is designed for adult builders who enjoy detailed model railway projects and the challenge of a large-scale MOC. The set arrives new and includes a complete parts inventory for the build.

PDF instructions and major-brand compatibility

The package supplies a PDF instruction booklet rather than printed sheets, so builders can zoom and scroll on a tablet or print only the pages they need. Bricks are moulded to fit tightly with LEGO and other leading systems, letting you integrate the locomotive into an existing layout or expand it with standard track and rolling stock.

ABS plastic construction with smooth edges

Parts are moulded from BPA-free ABS plastic with smooth edges, giving a solid feel and consistent clutch power across the 2241 pieces. The multi-colour selection matches the prototype's yellow, grey and red scheme without requiring stickers or paint. Standard stud-and-tube connections mean the finished model holds together during handling and display.

Questions about this item

Will any of the 2241 parts need replacing after repeated builds?

The ABS plastic bricks are designed for long life and tight clutch power, so individual pieces rarely wear out; lost elements can be supplemented from any compatible brand.

What limits the size of a single build with this 2241-piece set?

The part count itself is the practical ceiling — once all 2241 bricks are used, expansion requires additional compatible sets.

Does the set generate heat or noise when displayed continuously?

No — it is a static plastic model with no motors, electronics or moving parts, so it produces zero heat and zero noise.
