1,459-Piece DB-Baureihe V188 Train Set

This 1,459-piece MOC building set recreates the DB-Baureihe V188 locomotive for adult builders and collectors. The model carries the MOC-130641 designation and arrives with PDF instructions for a guided assembly experience. It serves as a detailed display project rather than a playset for young children.

ABS Plastic Bricks With Tight Clutch Power

Bricks are moulded from BPA-free ABS plastic with smooth edges and a multi-colour palette that matches the prototype livery. The pieces interlock firmly with all major brand systems so you can integrate them into an existing collection without loose connections. A book-style format keeps the parts organised during the build.

Friction-Only Operation With No Power Draw

The finished locomotive rolls on wheels and axles supplied in the box; there are no motors, batteries or electronic components to charge. Thermals and noise are therefore non-existent during normal handling. The set draws zero power and requires only a stable surface for display or occasional reconfiguration.

How well do the 1459 pieces interlock with standard LEGO bricks?

The set is 100% compatible with LEGO and all major brands; the ABS bricks hold tightly together without loosening during play.

What physical space or base is needed to assemble the DB-Baureihe V188 model?

No specific baseplate is included; the train can be built on any flat surface or existing LEGO-compatible baseplates you already own.

Where do I find the building steps for this MOC-130641 set and what is the common mistake?

A PDF instruction file is supplied; the frequent error is skipping the wheel-and-axle sub-assemblies before joining the main chassis sections.
