Medieval Castle Prison Expansion

This 4,820-piece set adds a prison and writing rooms to an existing medieval castle layout. It is aimed at builders aged 14 and older who enjoy detailed architectural models and custom MOC designs. The parts arrive new and are made from ABS plastic in multiple colours.

LEGO-Compatible Castle Upgrade

The expansion is 100% compatible with LEGO bricks, so it replaces improvised wall sections or generic filler pieces with purpose-built prison cells and scriptorium details. The jump is worth it when a builder wants historically themed rooms that match official castle aesthetics without hunting for rare individual elements.

PDF-Guided Assembly

A PDF instruction file is included, and the bricks interlock tightly with major brands for a straightforward build. The main risk is losing track of the high part count across multiple building sessions, so sorting trays are recommended before starting.

Questions about this item

What baseplate dimensions does the 4820-piece medieval castle expansion require for the prison and writing rooms?

The set is 100% compatible with LEGO bricks so any standard LEGO baseplate grid will work; no proprietary dimensions are needed.

How do I follow the PDF instructions for MOC-131232 and what step do builders often miss?

Download the PDF, sort pieces by colour first, then build in numbered bag order; the step most often missed is attaching the technic axles before closing the wall sections.

Which parts of the 4820-piece set wear out first and how do I replace them?

Only the small technic pins and axle connectors see repeated stress; order standard LEGO-compatible replacement pins in the same diameter when they loosen.
