DB BR 406 ICE 3 Bordrestaurant Model

This ZITIANYOUBUILD set recreates the DB BR 406 Series ICE 3 Bordrestaurant locomotive numbered 1203 using interlocking plastic bricks. It is designed for adult builders and collectors who enjoy detailed railway replicas and the MOC building experience.

100% LEGO-Compatible Brick System

Every piece is moulded from BPA-free ABS plastic with smooth edges and tight clutch power that matches major brick brands. The 136042 kit includes wheels, axles and a variety of coloured elements supplied with PDF instructions for the complete locomotive assembly.

Expands Existing Brick Collections

Because the bricks fit standard stud dimensions, the finished model integrates directly into any LEGO city or train layout without adapters. Builders can display the bordrestaurant car alongside other rolling stock or repurpose the specialised parts for custom railway projects.

Questions about this item

How does the 136042 piece count translate into the finished DB BR 406 ICE 3 Bordrestaurant model?

The set contains 136042 bricks that assemble into a detailed replica of the 1203 locomotive, including the restaurant carriage, using standard interlocking connections.

What does 100 % compatibility with LEGO mean for mixing these bricks with existing collections?

Every brick follows the same stud geometry and clutch power as LEGO elements, so they lock together firmly and can be combined freely with genuine LEGO sets.

What physical space or baseplates are needed to display the completed 406 series locomotive?

The finished model sits on standard LEGO-compatible baseplates; its length and width match the prototype’s proportions, so a single large plate or several joined plates will support it.
