Custom MOC-201479 Double Decker Train

This 4712-piece building set reproduces a historic Deutsche Reichsbahn double-decker train as a custom My Own Creation model. It is designed for adult hobbyists and experienced builders who enjoy detailed railway subjects and advanced construction techniques. The set arrives with PDF instructions for a guided assembly process.

Sustained building experience across thousands

The high piece count supports a long, multi-session build that develops gradually rather than finishing in a single sitting. Bricks are moulded from durable ABS plastic with tight tolerances so sections stay locked together during extended handling and display. Compatibility with major brands allows builders to integrate existing collections without fit issues.

Steps up from smaller train kits

Builders moving up from starter locomotive sets gain a true-to-prototype double-decker formation with authentic livery details. The jump is worthwhile when the goal is a display-grade model that rewards patience and showcases advanced building techniques. Casual fans seeking a quick build or a playset for young children will find the complexity excessive.
