VW Golf MK1 Cabriolet Build

This ZITIANYOUBUILD MOC-26778 set recreates the classic VW Golf MK1 Cabriolet using 100% LEGO-compatible bricks. It is designed for builders aged 6 and up who enjoy detailed vehicle models. The multi-colour ABS plastic pieces lock together firmly for a stable display or play model.

Step Up From Basic Brick Boxes

The set moves beyond standard brick assortments by providing a curated selection of shaped elements, wheels and axles tailored to one specific car. Builders who want a guided project with a recognisable result will find the jump worthwhile when they prefer structured building over open-ended tubs.

Fits Any LEGO-Compatible Collection

Bricks match the dimensions of major brands so the model integrates directly into existing LEGO cities or Technic layouts. The included PDF instructions free up shelf space by removing the need for a printed booklet. The set arrives as a complete kit with no extra parts required to finish the cabriolet.

Questions about this item

What size baseplate or surface is required for the 10242 model?

The set contains standard interlocking bricks that build the cabriolet on any flat surface; no specific baseplate dimensions are included in the package.

Does the PDF instruction file open on a tablet, or is a printed manual included?

Only a PDF instruction file is supplied; it can be viewed on any device that reads PDFs, but no printed booklet comes in the box.

Are the wheels and axles standard LEGO Technic parts for future replacement?

The set uses regular brick-built wheels and axles compatible with major brands, so standard replacement elements from other systems will fit.
