Scale Model Steamship

The ZITIANYOUBUILD MOC-61595 reproduces the SS Normandie at 1/400 scale using 3328 interlocking bricks. It arrives new with PDF instructions and is designed for adult builders who enjoy detailed maritime subjects. The finished model serves as a display piece rather than a playset.

Step Up From Smaller Ship Kits

Builders who have completed smaller vessel sets will find the piece count and hull complexity a natural progression. The jump is worth it when you want a longer build session and a larger finished silhouette that matches the 10294 footprint. Casual builders seeking a quick afternoon project should look elsewhere.

Stable Geometry Through Long Builds

ABS bricks hold clutch power across hundreds of repetitive hull sections so alignment stays true from keel to superstructure. Color consistency remains uniform throughout the multi-color palette during extended assembly. The friction-fit design resists loosening when the completed model is moved or dusted.

Questions about this item

What size display area does the 1/400 scale SS Normandie need?

At 1/400 scale the finished model measures roughly one four-hundredth of the real liner, so allow a shelf or table at least the length of the hull plus a few centimetres on each side for viewing.

How do I get the PDF instructions onto a tablet for the 3328-piece build?

Download the supplied PDF from the included link, open it in any PDF reader, and use pinch-to-zoom so you can follow each sub-assembly without losing your place in the 3328-step sequence.

Which pieces wear out first if the model is handled often?

The ABS bricks and clutch hinges hold up well, but the small technic pins and axle connectors that join the superstructure modules can loosen after repeated disassembly; keep spares from the 3328-piece inventory.
