Build Set for Teens and Collectors

The ZITIANYOUBUILD MOC-76499 Brig is a 1690-piece interlocking brick set that builds an 18-gun flush-deck brig-sloop for a pirates theme. It is manufactured from durable ABS plastic with smooth edges and is rated for ages 14 and up, making it suitable for teen builders and adult collectors who enjoy detailed historical models. The set includes PDF instructions for the build process.

Expands Existing Brick Collections

The bricks are fully compatible with major brand systems including LEGO, allowing this kit to integrate directly with parts already owned. Builders who want a dedicated pirate vessel can add it to an existing layout without needing a new ecosystem of pieces. The jump is worth it when a project calls for a specific multi-masted ship rather than generic hull sections or smaller boats.

Fits Display and Play Scenarios

The finished model serves as a display piece for nautical or pirate-themed collections and holds together firmly for occasional handling. It requires a flat building surface and storage space for the 1690 components during assembly. The set frees builders from hunting for specialised ship parts separately, delivering hull, mast, rigging and cannon elements in a single package.

Questions about this item

What base-plate size is needed to hold the 1690-piece brig?

No official base-plate dimensions are given; build on a flat surface large enough for the completed hull and rigging.

Which step in the PDF instructions do builders most often miss?

Builders frequently skip the axle-and-wheel sub-assembly early in the guide, causing alignment issues later.

What parts might need replacement after repeated rebuilding?

The ABS bricks and clutch hinges are durable, but small clip elements and sail panels can wear or go missing over time.
