ZITIANYOUBUILD MOC-98101 Forest Cottage

This 1220-piece building set recreates a forest cottage complete with kitchen, table, bed and armchair. It is designed for builders aged 14 and older who enjoy detailed architectural models. The bricks are made from ABS plastic and are fully compatible with LEGO pieces.

100% LEGO Compatibility Upgrade

The set replaces standard single-theme kits by offering a modular MOC design that integrates with existing LEGO collections. The jump is worth it when you want a display-scale cottage that expands a village layout without buying multiple smaller boxes.

ABS Plastic Brick Limits

The interlocking system relies on friction-fit studs that can loosen after repeated rebuilds. Very large structures may need internal reinforcement because the bricks lack Technic-style pins or clips. PDF instructions are supplied instead of a printed booklet.

Questions about this item

Does the 1220-part Forest Cottage Hut set require a specific baseplate size to build on?

No dedicated baseplate is included; the model sits on any flat surface or standard LEGO-compatible plates you already own.

The PDF instructions mention numbered bags — what happens if I open them all at once?

Opening every bag at once mixes the 1220 pieces and makes the step-by-step build much harder; keep bags sealed until their step number appears in the guide.

Will the ABS bricks in set 98101 lose clutch power after repeated rebuilds?

The ABS plastic is moulded to hold tightly through many build-and-take-apart cycles; normal play will not degrade the clutch noticeably.
