Lightweight 17.3in Stretchy Lanyard

The Zkptops WL Stretchy Lanyard in Smoke Violet is a 17.3in neck cord made from 100% nylon. Its soft, breathable fabric sits comfortably against the skin during extended wear. The unisex design suits teachers, nurses, office staff and students who need to keep identification visible all day. A corrosion-resistant alloy clasp rotates 360 degrees to prevent the strap from twisting.

Replaces Fixed-Length Cords

This elastic lanyard stretches smoothly from its resting length so users can swipe badges or reach keys without removing the strap. It snaps back to shape after each use, retaining elasticity through repeated daily cycles. The upgrade is worthwhile for anyone who currently unclips a static lanyard dozens of times a shift. Workers who never extend their credentials will not gain the same benefit.

Elastic Cord Limits

The nylon cord provides give but has a finite stretch range; it cannot span large distances such as floor-to-waist reaches. Hand washing is the only recommended care method, so machine laundering will degrade the material. The single metal clasp attaches one item cluster; the lanyard does not offer a quick-release buckle or a secondary safety breakaway.

Questions about this item

How long is the lanyard when it is not stretched?

The lanyard measures 17.3in in its relaxed state and uses elastic nylon that expands smoothly for hands-free badge or key access before retracting back to its original length.

Does the metal clasp rotate to stop the cord from twisting?

Yes, the corrosion-resistant alloy clasp swivels 360 degrees so the attachment turns freely during daily use and prevents the stretchy cord from kinking or tangling.

How should I clean the nylon strap if it gets dirty?

Hand wash the 100% nylon strap in cool water with mild detergent, then air dry; the material is designed to keep its elasticity and solid colour after repeated washing.
