1/2 HP Submersible Sewage Pump
The Zoeller N267 is a 1/2 HP manual submersible sewage pump designed for residential and light commercial waste removal. It operates on 115V AC single-phase power and draws 10.40 A. The cast iron body and thermoplastic impeller handle solids up to 2 inches in diameter.
Manual Operation Requires External Control
This unit ships with no switch included, so an external float or control panel must be supplied by the installer. The hermetically sealed, oil-filled motor protects internal components from moisture. A 2 inch discharge outlet connects to standard piping for ejector or dewatering applications.
Replaces Failed Ejector Pumps in Existing Basins
The pump upgrades or replaces older 1/2 HP units that can no longer meet the 85 gpm flow rate at 10 ft of head or the 45 gpm rate at 15 ft. The jump is worth it when the current pump cannot clear 2 inch solids or when the carbon-ceramic shaft seal has worn out.

Questions about this item
How long can the 1/2 HP motor run continuously before the oil-filled housing overheats?
The hermetically sealed, oil-filled motor is designed for continuous duty; the oil acts as a coolant and insulator, allowing extended operation without thermal shutdown under normal sewage ejection cycles.
What is the typical noise level and motor temperature when pumping at 85 gpm against 10 ft of head all day?
The cast iron body and submerged operation suppress airborne noise; the oil-filled motor transfers heat directly to the pumped liquid, keeping external surface temperatures low during sustained 10.40 A draw.
Does the N267 include a float switch and check valve, or must I supply them separately?
No switch is included with the N267; you must provide a separate float switch or control panel for automatic operation, plus a 2 in discharge check valve to prevent backflow.
