ZORNHER ZH870 80% Layout

The ZORNHER ZH870 is a compact 80% mechanical gaming keyboard built for users who want a space-saving design without losing the function row, arrow keys or navigation cluster. Its 88-key layout suits both gaming sessions and daily typing work.

Suits typists wanting audible feedback

Pre-lubed linear switches and a gasket mount deliver a creamy feel with crisp sound, making it a good match for enthusiasts who enjoy acoustic feedback. Buyers needing a completely silent office keyboard should consider other options.

Hot-swappable linear switch sockets

The board uses hot-swappable sockets so switches can be changed without soldering, letting owners customise the typing experience or replace worn switches easily. This feature decides whether the keyboard fits a builder who wants flexibility.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the ZORNHER ZH870 get during all-day typing sessions?

The gasket-mounted, factory-lubed linear switches produce a soft, creamy sound profile that stays consistent through long sessions, and the plastic chassis runs cool with no active cooling needed.

Which cable or dongle must I already own to connect the ZH870 out of the box?

A USB-C cable is required for wired operation, and the 2.4 GHz receiver plugs into a free USB-A port; no proprietary adapter is needed.

Will the ZH870 Shadowy fit alongside my older full-size keyboard on the same desk?

At 16.65 in wide by 7.99 in deep it occupies roughly 80 % of a standard board’s footprint, leaving room for a mouse or a second keyboard.
