Zoro Select 11" x 9" Sandpaper Pack

This pack contains 100 sheets of Zoro Select sandpaper, each measuring 11 inches by 9 inches. The abrasive is aluminium oxide graded P600 for super-fine finishing work. Sheets are backed with B-weight paper and coloured red. They suit automotive paint preparation, wood finishing and general surface smoothing.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Sandpaper sheets generate no heat, noise or electrical draw during use. Performance depends on hand pressure or the sander driving them. The B-weight paper backing resists tearing while staying flexible enough to follow contours. No power supply or cooling is involved.

Build Quality and Connectors

Each sheet uses aluminium oxide grain bonded to red B-weight paper. The 11 by 9 inch size fits common hand blocks and many orbital sanders with hook-and-loop or clamp mounts. Pack quantity of 100 supports extended projects without frequent reordering. No adhesives or proprietary fasteners are included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 11 in x 9 in sheets on my hand sander, and what step is often missed?

Align the 11-inch length with the sander pad, secure both ends under the clamps, and ensure the 9-inch width sits flat without overhang; the step often missed is checking that the paper lies completely smooth before tightening.

When will the P600 aluminum-oxide sheets need replacement during a refinishing job?

Replace sheets when the red abrasive surface dulls, loading clogs the grit, or cutting speed drops noticeably; with 100 sheets in the pack you can rotate fresh ones as each loses bite.

What limit appears first when sanding continuously with the B-weight paper backing?

The lightweight paper backing tears or folds at the clamp edges before the aluminum-oxide grit wears out, especially under sustained pressure or on sharp contours.
