Zoro Select 16BARTW4 Rebar Tie Wire 16 ga 384 ft PK20

16-Gauge Rebar Tie Wire for Concrete Work

This black annealed wire comes in 384 ft coils packaged in a quantity of 20 for large-scale binding tasks. It is intended for contractors and crews securing reinforcement bars on foundations, slabs or walls. The soft annealed finish allows quick hand twisting without special tools. It is not suited for buyers who need insulated electrical conductors or corrosion-resistant fencing wire.

Practical Limits of Bare Annealed Wire

The uncoated surface will rust when exposed to weather or concrete moisture, so it should not be used where long-term corrosion resistance is required. Sixteen-gauge thickness limits the wire to light-duty tying; heavier mats or seismic zones typically demand a thicker gauge. Each coil is a fixed 384 ft length, so projects needing continuous runs beyond that must plan for splices.
