Suited for Light-Duty Securing Tasks

Campers and DIY users needing a short, elastic tie-down for tarps, light loads or gear bundles will find this cord useful. It is not intended for heavy structural rigging, towing, lifting or any application requiring a rated working load limit. Buyers who need a certified load rating or a longer reach should look at alternative products.

Check Hook Fit and Regulatory Warnings

Verify that the 2-23/32 inch J-hook will engage the grommets or anchor points on your tarp or frame before ordering. Note that this product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Questions about this item

What diameter tarp grommet fits the 5/16 in cord?

The cord is 5/16 in thick, so choose grommets sized for that diameter or slightly larger.

Will the 2-23/32 in steel J-hooks engage the tie-down points on my older canopy frame?

The hooks measure 2-23/32 in long; measure your frame loops to confirm they accept that reach.

How do I confirm the 18 in bungee is tensioned correctly after hooking it to the tarp?

The rubber cord should stretch firmly without sagging; both J-hooks must seat fully in their anchor points.
