Leak Diverter Tarp 7x7 ft

The Zoro Select 5WTZ8 is a polyethylene leak diverter tarp measuring seven feet by seven feet. It is designed to catch and redirect water away from equipment, inventory or work areas in industrial and commercial settings. The white cover includes bungee cords with hooks, drawstrings, hooks and straps for secure mounting.

Fire-Retardant Polyethylene Material

The tarp is constructed from fire-retardant polyethylene, a specification that determines whether it meets site safety requirements for overhead drainage. Buyers who need a non-fire-rated cover or a different material such as vinyl should look elsewhere.

Sustained Drainage Under Continuous Leaks

Under sustained load the polyethylene sheet channels water toward the perimeter where attached cords and straps keep the tarp taut, preventing pooling that could cause sagging. The design maintains drainage flow over long periods without the need for an integrated hose. California Proposition 65 warnings apply.

Questions about this item

How does the 7 ft by 7 ft size perform when installed under a leak?

The square polyethylene sheet spans 7 ft in each direction and uses its fire-retardant coating to shed water toward the edges where attached bungee cords, hooks, drawstrings and straps direct flow into a container.

What mounting system does the tarp use and what does it secure to?

Bungee cords with hooks, drawstrings, hooks and straps are built into the tarp so it can be fastened to overhead structures such as rafters, pipes or ceiling grid without additional hardware.

What clearance and attachment points are needed to hang the 7 ft square tarp?

A clear overhead span of at least 7 ft by 7 ft plus anchor points around the perimeter for the integrated bungee cords, hooks, drawstrings and straps is required.
