Straight Blade Plug 5-15P

This grounded straight blade plug carries a 15 A, 125 V AC rating with a NEMA 5-15P configuration. It suits residential and light commercial wiring where a polarized connection is required. The two-pole, three-blade design fits standard North American receptacles.

Screw Terminal Wiring

Screw terminals accept stripped conductors up to a 0.655 in maximum cable diameter. Tighten each screw firmly to prevent loose connections that cause overheating. The straight orientation eases access in tight boxes, but verify polarity before energising the circuit.

15 A Capacity Headroom

The device handles continuous loads up to its 15 A rating and includes a 1/2 hp motor rating for small appliance use. Chemical and impact resistant housing withstands job-site conditions. It is not rated for IP protection, so avoid wet or outdoor locations without a suitable cover.
