M6 Class 12 Hex Nut

This pack contains five M6-1.00 hex nuts manufactured from Class 12 steel with a black oxide finish. They suit automotive, industrial and general fastening tasks that demand high tensile strength. The right-hand metric thread follows DIN 934 dimensional standards for reliable fit.

DIN 934 interface limits

The nuts conform to DIN 934 and DIN 267-4, so they mate with standard M6-1.00 bolts and studs of matching property class. They are not intended for left-hand threads or inch-series hardware. REACH compliance confirms restricted substance control.

Five-piece capacity

The small pack supplies enough nuts for a single repair or a small assembly without excess inventory. Users needing larger quantities or a different property class will require additional packs. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this product.

Questions about this item

Which pack size should I choose for M6 Class 12 hex nuts?

The product is sold as a single small pack containing five hex nuts; no other pack quantities are offered for this M6-1.00 Class 12 steel item.

What does the Class 12 rating mean when the nut is installed?

Class 12 indicates a high-strength steel nut manufactured to DIN 267-4, suitable for structural or high-load joints where a standard Class 8 nut would be insufficient.

Does the DIN 934 standard limit the thread fit or torque I can apply?

DIN 934 defines the nut's dimensions — 10 mm across flats and 5 mm height for M6 — while the Class 12 material governs the proof load; torque should follow the bolt grade and lubrication used.
