Hex Nut M20x2.50 Class 12
This Zoro Select fastener is a metric hex nut manufactured to DIN 934 dimensional standards and DIN 267-4 material quality standards. It features a Class 12 steel construction with a black oxide finish and right-hand thread direction. The pack contains sixteen pieces for maintenance or assembly work.
Mechanics needing high-strength M20 fasteners
Builders who require Class 12 rated nuts for structural joints will find this specification suitable. Buyers who need a different thread pitch, a lower property class, or a larger bulk quantity should look at alternative listings. The small pack size limits use on very large projects.
Black oxide steel under sustained clamping load
The Class 12 rating indicates a high proof load capacity for demanding fastening applications. Black oxide provides mild corrosion resistance and reduces galling during repeated tightening cycles. The nut maintains dimensional stability per DIN 934 when torqued to specification. REACH compliance confirms restricted substance adherence.

Questions about this item
What thread size and pitch must the bolts or studs have to fit these M20x2.50 Class 12 hex nuts?
The bolts or studs must be M20 with a 2.50 mm pitch to match the thread specification of these nuts.
Will a 30 mm spanner or socket fit the hex flats on these nuts alongside older imperial-sized fasteners in the same toolkit?
Yes, the hex width is 30 mm, so a 30 mm spanner or socket engages the flats; imperial tools will not fit this metric size.
How can I confirm the nuts meet the Class 12 strength rating after installation?
Verify the DIN 934 and DIN 267-4 markings on the nut faces, which certify the Class 12 property class and dimensional compliance.
