Copper Sealing Washers M16 Pack of 50
These copper sealing washers suit M16 bolts with a 16 mm inside diameter and 22 mm outside diameter. Each washer is annealed and 2 mm thick with a tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm. The pack contains 50 pieces for workshop or maintenance use.
Annealed Copper Performance Under Load
The annealed copper material compresses evenly when torqued, creating a reliable seal that resists loosening from vibration. The consistent 2 mm thickness maintains clamping force across all 50 washers in the pack. Copper's malleability allows it to conform to flange surfaces without cracking during repeated thermal cycles.
Thermal Conductivity and Installation
Copper conducts heat away from the joint area, reducing localised stress during temperature changes. The plain finish requires no additional surface preparation before fitting. Each washer weighs very little, adding negligible mass to the assembly.

Questions about this item
How much heat can the copper M16 sealing washers handle during continuous engine operation?
The washers are made from annealed copper and rated for standard sealing applications; copper conducts heat well and maintains its seal at typical automotive temperatures.
What thread size and flange diameter do I need on the bolts for these 16 mm ID 22 mm OD washers to seal correctly?
They are designed for M16 bolts with a 16 mm inner diameter and 22 mm outer diameter, so the bolt shank and flange must match those dimensions.
Will the 2 mm thick copper washers work with older steel or aluminium housings that have slightly worn sealing faces?
The annealed copper is soft enough to conform to minor surface imperfections on older steel or aluminium faces while maintaining a reliable seal.
