Standard-duty polyethylene tarp

This tarp is a standard-duty cover made from polyethylene sheeting for general outdoor protection. It suits homeowners, gardeners or site workers who need a simple barrier against dust, debris or light rain. The tan colour keeps it low-key on a roof, wood pile or equipment stack.

Water resistance and breathability limits

The material is not rated water-resistant or waterproof, so standing water will soak through in sustained rain. It is also non-breathable, which means condensation can build up underneath when temperatures swing. Users should plan for drainage and ventilation if the cover stays in place for days.

Brass grommets on 24-inch centres

Brass grommets run every 24 inches along the single-stitched, web-reinforced hem for tie-down points. The 10-mil thickness and 5.8 oz/sq yd fabric weight resist mildew, tearing and UV damage under normal exposure. The finished dimensions match the cut size at 8 by 12 feet, so the cover lays flat without unexpected shrinkage.
