Quick Link for 3/8 in Chain

The Zoro Select threaded quick link is a forged steel connecting link with a zinc-plated finish. It fits 3/8 in Grade 30 chain and has a working load limit of 2,640 lb. The link is not rated for lifting applications.

Quick Link Replaces Threaded Shackles

This quick link replaces bolt-type shackles when a lower-profile connection is needed on 3/8 in chain. The jump is worth it when installation speed matters more than a pinned shackle's security.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous tension the forged body distributes stress across the full 3/8 in material thickness. The zinc plating resists surface corrosion during extended outdoor exposure. The threaded sleeve remains engaged without tools once hand-tightened.

Questions about this item

What chain trade size fits the 3/8 in compatible chain specification?

The quick link accepts a 3/8 in trade size chain, matching Grade 30 specifications for secure connection.

How do you properly close the threaded gate to reach the 2,640 lb working load limit?

Thread the gate fully until the forged steel body seats flush; incomplete engagement reduces the rated working load limit.

When should the zinc-plated finish be inspected for corrosion-related replacement?

Inspect the zinc-plated steel regularly; replace the link if plating wear exposes base metal or if deformation exceeds 27/32 in inside width.
