12-Piece Dual-Tip Black Marker Set

This set contains twelve black markers, each fitted with a 0.4 mm fine tip and a brush tip. The water-based ink is non-toxic, acid-free and low-odour. Markers are housed in a reusable storage case with colour-coded caps. Suitable for adult artists, calligraphers and hobbyists.

For detailed illustration and expressive lettering

The fine tip handles precise outlines, technical drawing and manga line work. The brush tip allows variable strokes for calligraphy, shading and graphic novel effects. Ink can be diluted with water for grey washes on mixed-media paper. Not suited for projects requiring coloured inks or permanent waterproof lines.

Twelve markers give broad creative headroom

A full set supports extended sessions of sketching, outlining and brush lettering without running dry. Fade-resistant pigment keeps finished work stable over time. Water-soluble formulation means lines will lift if wetted, so the set is not for outdoor signage or archival documents needing water resistance.

Questions about this item

What paper weight handles the 0.4 mm fine tip and brush tip without bleed-through?

Use watercolor or mixed-media paper; the water-based ink stays on the surface and can be diluted for grey washes without soaking through.

Can I blend these markers with alcohol-based Copics I already own?

No — the ink is water-based and non-toxic, so it will not blend with alcohol-based systems and may react unpredictably if layered over them.

How do I confirm the ink is flowing correctly from both tips after the first use?

Recap tightly after each session; consistent, opaque black lines from the 0.4 mm tip and smooth brush strokes show the ink is feeding properly.
