ZWILLING TWINNY Kids Chef's Knife Set

The ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS 1034515 TWINNY 2-pc set gives children aged four and older a safe introduction to cooking. It pairs a rounded stainless steel blade with a protective finger guard that teaches the claw grip. The set is designed for use under adult supervision only.

Capacity and headroom for young cooks

The knife handles soft foods such as fruit, vegetables and cheese while the foldable cutting board provides a stable, antibacterial surface. The board folds to funnel chopped ingredients straight into bowls or pots without spills. Hard or frozen items exceed the blade's intended capability.

Bundled accessories that change the experience

A plastic hand guard protects small fingers while holding food and doubles as a blade cover for safe storage. The included mini recipe booklet guides first cooking attempts with age-appropriate instructions. Eco-friendly packaging completes the ready-to-gift set.

Questions about this item

Can the TWINNY 1034515 knife and its foldable cutting board be used with standard adult kitchen knives and boards?

The knife is sized for children aged 4+ with a rounded blade and finger guard, while the lightweight foldable board slides ingredients into bowls; both are designed for supervised learning rather than heavy adult prep.

How can I check that the finger guard and rounded blade are working as intended after setup?

Under adult supervision, the finger guard should cover the blade during storage and guide a claw grip while cutting, and the rounded tip should prevent piercing — test both on soft foods first.

What comes in the 1034515 set and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the TWINNY children's knife, a plastic hand guard that doubles as a blade cover, an antibacterial foldable cutting board and a mini recipe booklet; no extra items are included.
