Vehicle-Specific OEM Radio

This 2006 Chevrolet Impala and Monte Carlo factory radio is an OEM unit professionally remanufactured with added Bluetooth music streaming. It arrives unlocked and code-clear for plug-and-play installation, replacing part numbers 15870717, 10339198, 15292726, 15798974, and 15887275. The receiver retains AM/FM tuner and CD playback while adding wireless audio from a paired device.

Buyers needing a direct factory replacement

Owners of a 2006 Impala or Monte Carlo who want the original dashboard look and steering-wheel controls will find this unit fits the opening and wiring harness without adapters. Vehicles equipped with premium audio packages or special sound-system features may require dealer programming to restore full functionality. Buyers seeking modern touchscreen interfaces, navigation, or smartphone mirroring should consider aftermarket double-DIN alternatives instead.

Bluetooth audio streaming via Auxiliary mode

The single feature that distinguishes this unit from a stock 2006 radio is the integrated Bluetooth module, which routes music through the factory Aux input when the Aux button is pressed. Pairing uses a fixed passkey of 0000, and playback controls remain on the connected phone or tablet. If wireless streaming is not required, a standard unmodified OEM radio will cost less and install identically.

Questions about this item

Does the radio include wiring harnesses or trim pieces, or must they be purchased separately?

The unit is a direct-fit OEM replacement for the 2006 Impala and Monte Carlo; harnesses and dash trim are not included and must be sourced separately if the originals are missing.

Which part number matches my vehicle — 15870717 or one of the compatible numbers?

15870717 is the primary part number for this remanufactured radio; 10339198, 15292726, 15798974 and 15887275 are cross-references that also fit the same 2006 models.

How does the Bluetooth audio sound through the factory speakers once installed?

After pairing a phone and pressing the Aux button, music streams through the original speaker system with full use of the radio's tone and volume controls.
