Replacement radio for 2006 Chevrolet

This is a professionally remanufactured OEM head unit bearing part number 15870717. It provides AM and FM reception, an MP3-capable CD player and an auxiliary input jack. The unit arrives unlocked and code-cleared so it works plug-and-play in a 2006 Chevrolet Impala or Monte Carlo without a dealer visit.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Owners of a 2006 Impala or Monte Carlo wanting a direct-fit factory radio with auxiliary input will find this unit matches the original dashboard opening and wiring. Vehicles outside that model year or make, buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, or anyone requiring a double-DIN or touchscreen interface cannot use this part.

Deciding specification: part number 15870717

The critical detail is the OEM part number 15870717, which cross-references to GM numbers 10339198, 15292726, 15798974 and 15887275. Confirming that your vehicle uses one of these numbers determines whether the radio will install and function without additional programming.
