Volkswagen Premium VI Radio 1JM035157D

This factory radio is a professionally remanufactured OEM unit built for 2001 to 2009 Volkswagen Golf, Jetta and Passat models equipped with the Premium VI audio system. It provides AM, FM, CD and cassette playback in a direct-fit replacement. Buyers needing Bluetooth streaming, auxiliary input or satellite radio will not find those features here.

Dealer Activation Required for Operation

The unit requires dealer turn-on using the included CS code before it will function in the vehicle. Without this programming step the radio remains locked, so access to a Volkswagen dealership or qualified specialist with the necessary diagnostic equipment is essential. Installers without dealer-level software cannot complete the activation.

Part Number 1JM035157D Confirms Fitment

Matching this exact part number to the original radio is the only way to verify compatibility with the Premium VI non-Monsoon system. The interchange reference 638-58312 cross-checks to the same specification. Vehicles fitted with Monsoon audio or earlier Premium versions need a different part number.
