Direct-fit radio for 2013-2015 Chevy Captiva Sport

This factory OEM unit matches part number 22924485 and option code UUI for the listed model years. It delivers AM FM reception, CD playback, USB capability and a 3.5 mm auxiliary input for portable devices. The radio arrives unlocked and cleared for immediate use without a dealer visit for the pairing step.

Unlocked state removes the dealer pairing

Standard replacement units often need dealership programming to work with the vehicle. This radio has been serviced and unlocked at the supplier's Richmond location so it plugs in and functions straight away. Factory features such as the CD player and USB port remain fully operational after the unlock process.

Plug-and-play installation with one common exception

The unit installs directly into the factory dashboard opening using the original wiring harness. Most owners complete the swap without special tools. Vehicles equipped with premium or specialty sound systems may still require dealer configuration to activate those specific features.

Questions about this item

Will the CD mechanism or laser need servicing after extended use?

The unit has been professionally remanufactured, cleaned and serviced as needed before shipment, so the CD player is ready for daily operation without immediate maintenance.

What is the first limitation you hit when the radio runs continuously in a 2013-2015 Chevy Captiva Sport?

Continuous operation is limited by the vehicle’s electrical system and the radio’s factory thermal design; no specific duty-cycle figure is published for this OEM unit.

How much heat or noise does the 22924485 produce during all-day driving?

As a factory OEM head unit it runs silently with no cooling fan, and heat output stays within the dashboard’s normal operating range for the Captiva Sport.
