2002 Buick LeSabre OEM Radio Replacement

Buyers needing a direct factory swap

This unit suits owners replacing an identical 25735820 radio in a 2002 LeSabre. It will not suit vehicles with a different part number, external amplifier configurations or incompatible data streams. Buyers who cannot confirm their current part number should verify with a VIN before ordering.

Installation requires dealer programming

The receiver plugs into the original harness but needs dealer turn‑on to code to the vehicle. It frees the owner from sourcing a used unit of unknown condition. Professional installation with programming equipment is necessary for full function.

Questions about this item

Do I need the exact part number 25735820 already in my 2002 Buick LeSabre for this replacement radio to work?

Yes, the unit is a direct replacement only. If your current radio does not carry part number 25735820, the data streams will likely differ and the radio will not code correctly.

Will this remanufactured radio work with the original steering wheel controls and external amplifier in my 2002 LeSabre?

The listing warns that external amps and data-stream differences can prevent interchange, so verify your vehicle uses the same UP0 option code and 25735820 part number before installing.

How can I confirm the radio is functioning correctly after the dealer turn-on?

After dealer programming, check that AM, FM, cassette playback and the single CD player all operate without error and that the tune knob responds smoothly despite its minor cosmetic blemish.
