Factory radio for 2007-2008 Cobalt and G5

This 1 Factory Radio unit replaces the original AM FM CD receiver in 2007-2008 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models. Professional dealer unlocking is required after installation.

Thermals noise and power draw

The remanufactured OEM unit draws power from the vehicle electrical system like the factory radio. No additional cooling or noise considerations apply beyond normal dashboard operation. The unit has been cleaned, serviced and thoroughly checked before shipment.

Bundled accessories and software

No extra accessories or software are included with the radio. The Aux input works immediately for external players once the unit is unlocked. Permanent pairing with the vehicle must be performed by a GM dealer, typically a brief process that enables full functionality.

Questions about this item

How is the 25775626 radio installed and what step is often missed?

Mount the unit in the dash, connect the factory wiring harness and antenna, then take the vehicle to a GM dealer for the required unlock and pairing; the dealer step is the one people forget.

What maintenance or replacement will the 25775626 need later?

The CD mechanism may eventually need cleaning or replacement if discs skip, and the aux jack can wear from repeated plugging; no other user-serviceable parts are inside.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 25775626?

Extended play can cause the CD transport to overheat and temporarily stop reading discs until it cools down.
