Vehicle-specific replacement radio

This factory radio is a direct-fit replacement for 2007-2009 Cadillac DTS and 2007-2008 Cadillac SRX models. It matches part number 25808215 and option codes US9 and U2S. The unit is a professionally remanufactured OEM component that has been cleaned, serviced and tested for full function.

Dealer unlock and part-number matching required

The radio will not operate until a GM dealer unlocks it with the vehicle VIN. Interchange is strictly limited to the listed compatible part numbers 15877515, 15948003 and 25818944; units that look identical but carry different numbers may have incompatible data streams. External amplifier configurations in some vehicles also prevent direct swap.

AM FM and six-disc CD playback with aux input

The receiver provides AM and FM tuning plus a six-disc CD changer that supports MP3 discs. A front-panel auxiliary input allows connection of portable audio sources. Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, satellite radio or modern smartphone integration will not find those features in this unit.

Questions about this item

Which part number should I select for my 2007-2009 Cadillac DTS or SRX?

Choose part number 25808215 with option code US9 or U2S; it also replaces 15948003, 15877515 and 25818944, so verify the sticker on your original radio matches one of these numbers.

What does the six-disc CD changer actually do once installed in the vehicle?

It plays standard audio CDs and MP3-encoded discs through the factory AM/FM tuner, giving you multi-disc storage without an external changer.

How does the auxiliary input connect to the car's data bus?

The front-panel AUX jack feeds analogue audio into the radio, but the unit still requires a GM dealer unlock using the vehicle VIN before it will communicate on the Class 2 data bus.
