Direct OEM Replacement for 2007-09 Nissan Altima

This professionally remanufactured factory radio carries part number 28185JA000 and face code PY13B. It provides AM, FM, single CD playback and an auxiliary input for 2007, 2008 and 2009 Altima models. The unit arrives in 100 percent working order with cosmetic scratches near the volume knob and face area.

Exact Part-Number Match Required

The radio replaces only an identical 28185JA000 or interchangeable 28185ZN40A unit already installed in the vehicle. Data-stream differences and external-amplifier configurations prevent look-alike units from coding correctly, so verification with the VIN is essential before purchase.

Plug-and-Play Dash Integration

Installation uses the factory connector and mounting points with no additional harness or code entry needed. Climate controls are not included and must be retained from the original dash. The aux jack frees the driver to connect portable audio sources while preserving the original steering-wheel and dashboard layout.

Questions about this item

Will the 28185JA000 radio bolt into the dash of a 2007-2009 Nissan Altima without extra brackets?

The unit is an OEM replacement built for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Altima dash opening and uses the factory mounting points, so no additional brackets are required.

What wiring harness connection does the 28185JA000 need, and what is the common mistake during install?

It plugs into the Altima's factory connector; the step most people miss is verifying the exact part number 28185JA000 on the old unit before swapping, because similar-looking radios carry different data streams and will not code.

The face code PY13B shows a scratch near the volume knob — does that area wear further or need a replacement panel later?

The blemish is cosmetic; the face panel is not a service item, and the radio is tested to 100 per cent working order, so no scheduled panel replacement is expected.
