Direct-fit replacement panel

This radio audio control panel is a remanufactured unit built to the original 8002A34322 specification for the 2007-2009 Mitsubishi Endeavor. It provides the factory six-disc changer and radio interface in a single assembly. The part is intended strictly as a direct replacement for the identical part number already installed in the vehicle. Buyers who need a different part number or a modern aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth or touchscreen features should look elsewhere.

Dealer programming required

The unit will not function until it is programmed by a dealer or a qualified technician with the correct scan tool. Vehicle-specific data streams and option coding must be written to the panel before it can communicate with the car’s network. Without this step the display and controls remain inactive. Shops without access to Mitsubishi programming equipment cannot complete the installation.

Remanufactured OEM construction

The panel has been cleaned, serviced and tested to 100 per cent working order, though it may show normal cosmetic wear. It uses the original factory connectors and mounting points, so it fits the dashboard opening without adapters or harness modifications. The interchange number 638-51664 confirms cross-reference compatibility. Verify the exact part number on the original unit before ordering, as visually similar panels with different data protocols will not code correctly.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the part numbered 8002A34322 or the interchange number 638-51664?

Both numbers refer to the same 6-disc audio control panel; 8002A34322 is the primary Mitsubishi part number while 638-51664 is the interchange reference used by remanufacturers.

What does the 6-disc capability mean once the unit is installed in my 2007-2009 Endeavor?

The panel will play and control up to six CDs through the factory radio system, providing the original multi-disc changer function for that model year range.

Does this control panel use a standard DIN or ISO connector, and what does that limit?

It uses the factory Mitsubishi connector and data bus for 2007-2009 Endeavor models; the proprietary interface means it will not work in other vehicles even if the plugs appear similar.
