Ford Five Hundred & Mercury Montego 2006-2007 Radio

This is a professionally remanufactured OEM head unit with part number 6G1T-18C815-AC. It provides AM/FM reception, a six-disc CD changer and a Bluetooth upgrade for audio streaming. The unit is a direct replacement for the original factory radio in the listed vehicles.

Suits owners needing an exact-match replacement

Buyers who need a unit that fits a different model year or a different Ford platform should look elsewhere. The supplier states that data streams vary between seemingly similar radios and external amplifier configurations can prevent interchange. Without the exact part number currently in the vehicle, the unit will likely not work.

Deciding specification: part number 6G1T-18C815-AC

This single part number determines whether the radio is the correct part for the vehicle. If the original radio does not carry this exact number, the replacement will not function even if the connectors appear identical. Verify the part number before purchase.
