Verify part number and face code

Confirm the existing unit carries part number 86201AJ60A and face code PE605U6 before ordering; interchange part 638-51388 is also listed. Data streams differ between similar-looking units, so external amplifier configurations or other variants will not function as a direct swap.

Low-draw 12-volt operation

The head unit runs on standard 12-volt vehicle power with no auxiliary cooling required. Normal use produces no audible fan noise and negligible current draw, leaving the electrical system unaffected during daily driving.

Questions about this item

Does the 86201AJ60A radio ship with a wiring harness and mounting brackets, or must they be purchased separately?

The unit is sold as a direct replacement only; no harness or brackets are included and the original vehicle hardware must be reused.

Should I choose the 86201AJ60A with face code PE605U6 or a different part number for my 2010-12 Subaru Legacy?

Only the exact part number 86201AJ60A with face code PE605U6 is confirmed for this vehicle; other numbers may appear identical but use different data streams and will not work.

What does the "professionally remanufactured" label mean for daily operation in a 2010-12 Legacy?

The radio has been cleaned, serviced and tested to 100% function, though the face shows minor wear; it installs without a code and operates as the factory unit did.
