Mitsubishi 2006 OEM Radio Replacement

This professionally remanufactured unit replaces the factory radio in 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor and Galant models. It provides AM/FM reception, MP3 playback and a six-disc CD changer. The part number 8701A046 must match the original equipment exactly for the data bus to communicate correctly. No security code is required after installation.

Exact-match replacement only

Builders who need a direct swap for a failed 8701A046 radio will find this unit fits the dashboard and connector without modification. Shops repairing collision damage can return the vehicle to stock specification. Buyers whose vehicle uses a different part number, an external amplifier or a premium audio system should look elsewhere because the data stream will not match.

Part number 8701A046 compatibility gate

The single specification that decides fitment is the part number printed on the original radio label. If the existing unit does not show 8701A046 or reference CQ-EB0560L, the replacement will not code to the vehicle network. Face plate and controls are not included and must be reused from the old radio.

Questions about this item

Does the 8701A046 radio ship with a face plate and controls, or must they be sourced separately?

The listing states the face plate and controls are not included; you must reuse the ones from your original unit or obtain them separately.

How do I confirm that the 8701A046 part number matches my 2006 Endeavor or Galant?

Check the part number on your existing radio; only an exact match to 8701A046 guarantees compatibility, otherwise contact the seller with your VIN for verification.

What does the "100% working order" claim cover once the radio is installed in the vehicle?

It means the unit has been professionally remanufactured, cleaned, serviced and tested so that all AM, FM, MP3 and six-disc CD functions operate correctly after installation.
