2009-12 Hyundai Genesis OEM Radio

This professionally remanufactured AM FM 6-disc CD player with MP3 and satellite-ready capability replaces the factory head unit in 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis models. The unit carries part number 96190-2M120 and interchange number 638-51453A, arriving in 100% working order with no unlock code required.

Direct-fit installation with part-number match

The radio plugs into the existing harness and mounts in the original dashboard opening when the vehicle already uses part number 96190-2M120 or compatible number HY00201G9003. Mismatched part numbers are the most common reason the unit will not communicate with the vehicle data bus, even though connectors appear identical.

Verify the exact part number before ordering

Check the label on your current radio for part number 96190-2M120, interchange 638-51453A or option code 9624L1. If your Genesis uses an external amplifier or a different option code the data streams will not match and the replacement will not function.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 96190-2M120 radio is functioning correctly after installation?

Power the unit on and verify AM, FM, MP3 playback and all six disc changer slots operate; the satellite-ready indicator should light when a compatible tuner is connected.

What comes with the 96190-2M120 head unit and what must I source separately?

The remanufactured OEM radio arrives as a standalone replacement; mounting hardware, wiring harness, antenna adapter and any satellite tuner module are not included.

Which part-number version should I select for my 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis?

Choose the exact part number 96190-2M120 or interchange 638-51453A; other visually similar units carry different data streams and will not code correctly.
