Exact replacement for 2014 Mazda 3

Suits owners needing a direct swap for a failed

Buyers who cannot confirm the exact part number currently in their vehicle should not order. Data-stream differences and external-amplifier configurations mean visually identical radios may not code correctly. Verify the part number with your VIN before purchasing.

Straightforward dashboard swap for experienced

The unit plugs into the factory harness and mounts in the original location. Common issues arise when the vehicle uses an external amplifier or a different data protocol, which prevents the replacement from coding. Professional programming may be required if the part number does not match exactly.

Questions about this item

Do I need the original BHP3-669G0 part number in my 2014 Mazda 3 for this replacement receiver to work?

Yes, the supplier states this unit is a direct replacement only and will likely not work unless the existing radio carries the exact BHP3-669G0 part number or the listed interchange 638-72437.

Will this remanufactured single-disc CD player function with the factory wiring and external amplifier in my 2014 Mazda 3?

The unit is built to match the original BHP3-669G0 data stream, but the supplier warns that vehicles equipped with an external amp may not allow interchange even if the plugs look identical.

How can I confirm the radio is operating correctly after installation?

Power the unit, verify the display illuminates, tune to AM and FM stations, and insert a CD to confirm the single-disc player reads and plays audio through all speakers.
