Direct-Fit Amplifier for Jaguar XK8

This trunk-mounted amplifier module carries part number LNF4170AA and is built for 2000 through 2005 Jaguar XK8 models. It replaces the original equipment unit when that part number is already present in the vehicle.

Remanufactured OEM Quality

The unit has been professionally cleaned, serviced and tested so function is restored to factory specification. Trunk mounting means installation uses the existing brackets and wiring harness without modification.

Exact Part-Number Replacement

This amplifier only works as a direct swap for LNF4170AA; different part numbers will not code correctly even if connectors appear identical. Buyers who cannot confirm the exact part number on their current unit should verify with a VIN lookup before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the LNF4170AA use a specific data-bus protocol that limits interchangeability?

Yes, the unit communicates on the Jaguar data stream for 2000-2005 XK8 models; amplifiers with different part numbers may have incompatible data coding and will not function.

What physical space and mounting points does the trunk-mounted amplifier require?

It fits the factory trunk cavity in 2000-2005 XK8 vehicles and uses the original mounting brackets and connector orientation.

How is the LNF4170AA installed and which step is often missed?

Disconnect the battery, swap the amplifier in the trunk, reconnect the factory plug, then have the vehicle coded with a Jaguar-compatible tool so the new module is recognised.
